If so, this Online Field Day is for you!

At the Online Field Day you can attend multiple virtual field workshops all in the same day to help you address challenges on your property, restore healthy forest conditions, pursue fun new projects, and achieve your goals. The field day sessions are designed for people who own or care for forested property or are otherwise interested in forest stewardship in western Washington.

Whether you are a novice to forest stewardship, an experienced landowner, or work or volunteer for a natural resources organization, there is something new for everyone to learn. This is a family-friendly event so tune in with your next generation of forest stewards.

When and Where

The 2022 Online Fall Field Day will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 22nd, 2022. Sessions will be taught via Zoom.

What you will need

A computer or mobile device capable of running Zoom and a high-speed internet connection. Alternatively, you can dial in to the Zoom system via telephone to get the webinar audio over your phone.
Optional but recommended: Sign up for a free Zoom account if you don’t already have one.
Optional but recommended: download the Zoom software in advance if you don’t already have it. For a PC, go to the Zoom download page and download the Zoom Desktop Client. For a mobile device, download the Zoom app from to Google Play Store (Android devices) or the App Store (iOS devices).

What to Expect

Live sessions

The Online Field Day will consist of four 55-minute sessions, during each of which you can pick from a variety of topics. You will be able to ask questions and interact with instructors and panelists via the chat box.

Zoom meeting room numbers for each session will be sent out in advance to the email address you registered with so you can plan which sessions you want to attend live. Important: check your spam folder if you do not receive this info.

Recordings

Can’t attend live on October 22nd? Register anyway! Registered participants will receive links to the recordings of the sessions a week or two after the event has occurred. This will also allow you to see all the sessions you are interested in, even if they’re scheduled for the same time slot–watch one live and catch the recordings of the others later.
