Q). Is there a preferred herbicide for mullein?

A) Here are 5 recommendations for Mullein

  • Picloram (Tordon, Tordon 22K, Tordon 101, Grazon) at 2pts/acre (add 2,4-D (Weedar 64, Amine 4) at 4pts/acre if flowering)
  • 2,4-D + dicamba (Veteran 720, Rangestar, WeedMaster) at 4pts/acre
  • Telar @ 1.33 oz/acre
  • Aminopyralid (Milestone, Milestone VM) at 7oz/acre (add 2,4-D (Weedar 64, Amine 4) at 4pts/acre if flowering)

Q). How effective are cattle/grazing at reducing invasive weeds?
